Sending an autistic kid to see a convicted murder accomplice sentenced in prison isn’t a conventional therapy, of course. However, in the case of Zachary Tucker, this unconventional way worked!
Chris Vogt was charged and sentenced for helping kill a guy in 1998. However, this man never realized that while serving his sentence, he would improve lives of so many other.
Chris joined Colorado prison’s service dog training program and while most other inmates train service dogs for the blind and deaf, he worked on training his dogs to help autistic children.
Now watch his meeting with 9-year-old Zachary who suffers panic attacks when touched and just watch how Chris’ service dog did miracles!
